Florida address changes have a 30-day driver and vehicle deadline
Generally replace your Florida license or ID and update your vehicle registration address within 30 days. MyDMV offers separate services for both.
Open the official MyDMV Portal and choose the address-change service for your license or ID. If you also own a Florida-registered vehicle, use the separate registration service too; changing one record does not take care of the other.
The license and ID law calls for a replacement card with your new address, while the vehicle-registration law requires notice to FLHSMV. You can make these changes online if you qualify; otherwise, use a service center.
